Matrix Consult provides independent and impartial advice on construction projects for lenders, owner occupiers, developers, tenants and end users.
We offer: detailed cost and program analysis; advice on procurement routes and contract types; professional team compliance checks; coordination of pre- and post-contract meetings; preparation of monthly draw-down reports to the lender, highlighting all transactions and any risks that might affect program or cost.

Building Condition Surveys
Matrix Consult offers a tailor-made survey service to clients. This includes dilapidation surveys; and Schedule of Condition and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) surveys to highlight the client's risk prior to an acquisition or starting construction works.
We undertake building surveys for a wide range of clients across the building type spectrum. We deliver in-depth building condition surveys and reports. These typically detail the survey that was undertaken, the methods used, all of the defects and deterioration located along with the implications, followed by our recommendations to rectify the issues.

Over three decades, Simon has developed a keen awareness of each client’s needs and expectations to facilitate the successful running of a project.

Overview : Matrix Consult were appointed as project managers, employer’s agent and cost consultants for the demolition of the existing building and the development of 90,000ft² of office accommodation arranged over nine floors. The landmark building boasts a curved internal atrium that catches reflections of St Paul’s Cathedral, whilst the front elevation includes oriel windows within the Portland Stone facade.
The demolition and rebuilding works were particularly challenging due to the potential noise impact for the Crown Central Criminal Courts as adjoining neighbours.. Matrix Consult acted to ensure the demolition and main contractor carried out the works within acceptable noise levels whilst maintaining the programme schedule.

Following its successful delivery, Matrix Consult went on to provide project management, contract administration and quantity surveying on a further three schools as the work of TCES expanded.
